America's playgrounds received a C+ for safety in the latest survey by NPPS, a slight improvement from the C grade posted in 2000. View the United States Report Card grades for schools, child care, and parks by clicking the links below.

NPPS revisited more than 3,000 school, child care, and park playgrounds in the United States. Twenty-seven states increased their overall grade. Florida showed the most improvement jumping from a D- to a B+ while Michigan moved from a D- to a B. Click on your state to get the details about your state's grade.
